Donate your unwanted bikes for young, unemployed Salford residents

Donate your unwanted adult bikes and have them collected for FREE.

If you have an unused adult bike that you no longer want, please consider donating it for use of young, unemployed Salford residents who are taking part in the Salford Employment Hub summer programmes.

The Riding to Success community programme in partnership with Manchester Bike Kitchen will provide a unique opportunity for 16- to 24-year-olds to develop their teamworking skills and confidence.

Participants in the programme will be trained to repair and maintain the bikes and be able to keep the bike they repair upon completion of the programme, providing them with essential and sustainable transportation.

Extra bikes will be gifted to young carers and those in local authority care, helping them cycle to work or training they are undertaking.

Please note, we are not accepting children's bikes.

Bike collections will take place on Friday 17 and Tuesday 21 July 2026.

Contact [email protected] to arrange collection.

Thank you for your support!
