Employer lunch and learn: Identifying and supporting unpaid carers at work
Understand the challenges unpaid carers face at work and learn how to create a more supportive, inclusive workplace.
Around one in seven employees is an unpaid carer, and carers leaving work due to caring pressures costs UK employers £3.5 billion annually in turnover, recruitment and lost skills. In partnership with Gaddum Carers Centre, this session will help employers understand who counts as a carer, their legal rights, and how workplaces can better support them , strengthening retention and inclusion.
