Case study

A standout programme that has been hosted at the centre was a brickslips programme delivered in partnership with Frameworks Social Enterpsie, CWS, Salford Employment Hub and F&T Terrix, where seven women took part in a hands-on training course. The programme was part of a broader commitment to Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) training, with F&T Terrix sponsoring a sprayplastering training booth at the centre, and delivery supported construction upskilling for residents who were NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training).
Training was open to all ages and was designed to remove barriers to employment by combining manufacturer-led system training with on-site supervision and support from the Salford Employment Hub.
